About

What to say about me for this blog…

I love bookbinding, I love Keith Smith’s books on bookbinding, I love polymer clay. I also love sculpting and making dolls but that only has limited use in bookbinding (i.e., bas relief covers, a personal favorite of mine).

I love ancient cultures, ancient art, and ancient designs. Studying history is a hobby and historical designs and art frequently find their way into my own designs and art.

My family takes up a good portion of my time (3-year-old at home and 6-year-old in school). I’m a terrible housekeeper and I’m teaching myself how to draw and use colored pencils (and watercolor pencils) so I can draw better designs for my sculptures and reliefs.

I like a weird variety of music from MB20 to Gravity Kills. I love Etsy–all of it: buying, selling, and networking. I don’t exercise enough and spend waaay too much time on my computer. I enjoy my Playstation (even play some of my daughter’s games) and read more fanfiction than I should. I have plots, outlines, and some character studies for five different original books that have to fit in with all my other creative endeavors.

Beyond that, there’s not much else to say.
